Phones - Voicemail

Your Personal Mailbox

The Message light on your telephone will light up when there is a voicemail message to listen to. To retrieve the message:

• Press the Message button on your phone (before lifting the handset)
• Enter your password/PIN and press #
• Press 1 to retrieve new message, or listen for more options
• If you are unsure of your password/PIN please contact Network Support

Group Mailbox

Most teaching departments will also have a group mailbox. If your message light is on and there is no message in your personal mailbox, there may be a message in the group mailbox. To access this:

• Press the Message button on your phone (before lifting the handset)
• Press * to log into the group mailbox
• Enter the 3 digit group mailbox number (this is the group/office extension number) then press #
• Enter your personal 3 digit mailbox number (this is your personal extension number) then press #
• Enter your personal password/PIN and press #

Recording Your Name and Greeting

• Press the Message button on your phone
• Enter your password/PIN and press #
• Press 4 to go into the 'More Options' menu
• Press 2 to change your recorded name or greeting
  • Your recorded name is sometimes used alongside an automated message, e.g. "Joe Bloggs" is unable to take your call at the moment, please leave a message.
  • Your recorded greeting is the more personal message recorded by you in full, e.g. "Hi this is Joe Bloggs. Sorry I can't answer your call at the moment but please leave a message."
• Press 1 to record your name.
• Press 2 to record your greeting then press 1 to record Greeting number 1 (you don't need to record more than 1 greeting).
• Press 3 to listen to your recorded name and greeting.

Accessing Voicemail from Offsite

You can access voicemail from offsite by calling any School number that you know won't be answered (i.e. one that will go to voicemail). While the outgoing message is playing, press the # key and you will be taken into the voicemail system. Follow the spoken instructions to access your personal mailbox or group mailbox.

Contacts on new Zultys phone handsets

On the newer handsets (Zultys (Z 22G)) you can access the school contacts list
Press the down arrow and it will download and display 'Cloud Contacts'
You can then press on button and use the keypad to type a name.

For example to choose a C, press the number 2, 3 times
The search is CaSe sensitive
To change case the button second from the right scrolls through <2aB> <123><abc> <ABC> <Abc>
Select <Abc> and the first letter will be uppercase and the rest will be lower case
